Sandvik Ranger™ DX800R is a hydraulic, self-propelled, self-contained, crawler-based surface drilling unit with a radio remote control panel and rod handling system. Designed for efficient top hammer drilling in difficult terrain where a drill rig with operator’s cabin is not practical.

Revolving superstructure for enhanced reach

Similar to the rest of the Ranger™DX family, DX800R’s design includes a revolving superstructure for superior drilling coverage of 17.6 square meters (optionally 26.4 m²).

Radio remote control drilling

Perform applications like road cutting, pipeline drilling and foundation drilling remotely. DX800R contributes to operation safety, flexibility and convenience with complete radio remote-control drilling.
