Sandvik Ranger™ DX600R is a hydraulic, self-propelled, self-contained, crawler-based surface drilling unit with a radio remote control panel and rod handling system. Designed for fast top hammer drilling in challenging terrain where a drill rig with operator’s cabin is not feasible.

Revolving superstructure

Characteristic of the Ranger™DX family, DX600R’s design includes a revolving superstructure for superior drilling coverage of 17.6 m² (optionally 26.4 m²).

Radio remote control drilling

Typical applications like pipeline drilling, road cutting and foundation drilling can all be done remotely, increasing operation safety, flexibility and convenience.
