Klemm KR 807-7G: Powerful and Efficient Drilling Rig

Drill Rigs

High performance
With an engine power of up to 245 kW, the crawler drilling rig KR 807-7G or the KR 807-7GP variant is the most powerful drilling rig of KLEMM Bohrtechnik’s product range. The engines comply with the current emissions levels, EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4f.

Hydraulic system for high power demand
The reliable dual-circuit, load-sensing main pump system can be expanded with another main circuit, depending on the consumer configuration, e.g. for very high-power double-head drilling systems (rotating / vibrating and simultaneously rotating / percussive). The patented Power Sharing system makes the most of the power. With more than two main circuits, the pump performances are balanced out, adapting to the electrical control which is present as standard.

Energy Efficiency
The EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficient Power) includes a power and energy management system which adjusts the engine speed automatically and dynamically to the load and operating state. The power of the main pump circuits are automatically adjusted to the consumer situation. Fuel consumption and sound emissions are greatly reduced.

Universally suitable
With all of these features, the drilling rig is your first choice for demanding, heavy tasks in specialised foundation engineering, such as drilling system with large-capacity rod loaders, micropile work with heavy double-head overburden drilling systems, or HPI applications with large single-pass penetration depths.

Extremely stable
At the heart of the developed, extremely sturdy and stable structure is a triple-powered slewing ring. Particularly long or heavy drill masts can be put up and previously unattainable drilling positions can be set up. Another plus is the oscillating tracks with B4 undercarriage components. Without any additional supports, all arising forces are transferred in the ground via the sturdy crawler tracks. This minimises the effort needed for implementation and set-up.

Safety on the construction site
An easily portable radio remote control with optimum ergonomic design is used at the interface between operator and machine. The functional safety of the machine controls complies with Performance Level C (ISO 13849), making its design extremely resistant to faults and fail-safe. The ROM*1 and SPM*2 modes are available in the machine in accordance with EN 16228. The machine is pre-fitted for installation of a KLEMM Bohrtechnik interlocking guard.

Mechanised rod change
Custom-made magazine systems for various drilling tasks aim to increase drilling power while keeping staff needs low. With the drum magazine MAG 7.0, heavy double-rod systems up to a diameter of 254 mm, with sensitive hydraulic control, can be installed and expanded. Multiple gripper arm systems, e.g. MAG 1.2, are a good alternative for handling tubes with a maximum diameter of 203 mm.
