With extra power
The crawler drilling rig KR 806-5G is the largest drilling rig in the KR 806 series and is powered by an engine of 180 kW and a dual-circuit, load-sensing main pump system. For drilling systems with particularly high power requirements, the KR 806-5GP version of the drilling rig is available, with a 245 kW engine and an additional hydraulic circuit. Both engine variants meet the current EU and US emission standards.
Efficient performance
The KR 806-5G is not only optimally designed for the operation of powerful double-head drilling systems with a hydraulic drifter, but is also provides power reserves for the simultaneous operation of further consumers, e.g. flushing pumps. The EEP-Package (EEP=Energy-Efficient Power) includes a power and energy management system which adjusts the engine speed automatically and dynamically to the load and operating state. Fuel consumption and sound emissions are greatly reduced.
Maintenance and diagnostics
The display and diagnostics options have been hugely expanded, e.g. there are displays at the operating station for flow regulation of the individual flushing paths. All pump circuits are provided with easily accessible mini measuring devices.
Optimised machine kinematics
A feature of the optimised kinematic drill mast connection is the increased load-bearing capacity. This is the requirement for heavy drill masts or drilling systems.
The machine has an optimised kinematic drill mast connection with a large range of swivel and setting options. Vertical drilling positions, in particular, even next to the carriage, are easy to set up (in front of the wall, FOW). The kinematics allow you to reach the following positions:
Radio remote controllability
The option to control all functions by radio remote control is standard. The functional safety of the machine controls complies with Performance Level C (ISO 13849), making its design extremely resistant to faults and fail-safe. The ROM and SPM modes are available in the machine in accordance with EN 16228. The machine is pre-fitted for installation of a KLEMM Bohrtechnik interlocking guard.
