AirROC D40 is a semi-hydraulic drill rig from Epiroc. This compact and rugged drill is a move towards a more efficient hydraulic concept and thus a change for the better. This is an ideal choice for DTH drilling as it fits in with ease for development and production drilling in aggregate, limestone, and open pit mining. This drill has an on-board diesel engine which is a source of power for the hydraulic system. Main functions including tramming, set-up, boom movement, track oscillation, feed mechanism, and rotation unit are hydraulically driven. Optional features like water injection system is driven hydraulically or DCT system by pneumatically.
