Challenge : Civil Contractor specialising in foundations

Needed to drill into hard igneous rock for tie-down anchors, very close to the buildings.  

Solution : Modified Meridith Sampler Head (without the mast) with a laser aligning tool to keep the hole straight and vertical.  Coupled to a standard quick hitch for the carrier

Simple design, easy to operate,  

Enable the client to drill the tie-down hose in the confined space available 

Results : Client completed the job and allowed him to specialise in this type of work

Happy customer, ordered second machine.

Technical : Design depth   2 m, 5” Diameter single pass

Extra : Powered by the excavator, the compressor is towed with the excavator
