Overview

The 101 Manportable Explorer is a lightweight, modular diamond core drilling rig developed for environmentally sensitive and access-restricted locations.
It enables junior explorers to complete core drilling programs without roads, tracks, or heavy transport, while meeting strict environmental and heritage constraints.

The Challenge

A junior exploration company needed to complete diamond core drilling inside a heritage-listed national park, where:

• No roads or tracks could be constructed

• Minimal environmental disturbance was mandatory

• Helicopter transport was not practical

• Sufficient power and depth capability were still required
