Conrad SBM 50-6

Drill Rigs

The SBM 50-6 is the smallest of jetting masts. With its fully radiographic control and tracked unit, the sbm 50-6 is a party for every drill master. And that does not just apply on location.

SIZE IS IMPORTANT
We all know that installing dewatering filters on site is an incredibly labour-intensive job. Drill workers often didn’t make it to retirement and it’s virtually impossible to find new colleagues. But using a large jetting mast with truck and flatbed trailer simply isn’t feasible for every small job, which is why Conrad created the SBM 50-6. For relatively low investment and huge labour savings, this smallest drilling rig in our range is the best choice for both small and bigger jobs.

The SBM 50-6 is the smallest dewatering drilling rig in Conrad’s range. This advanced drilling rig is equipped specifically for installing dewatering filters in difficult terrain and tight spaces.

The upper frame rotates 360 degrees for the ultimate in manoeuvrability. With its full radio control and caterpillar chassis, the SBM 50-6 is a real joy for any drill operator. And that doesn’t only apply on site.

Partly due to the use of plastic HDPE in the water unit and the aluminium jetting mast and drill head, the overall weight remains very low. And this, combined with its compact dimensions, is the reason the SMB 50-6 is so easy to transport on a trailer. So you don’t need a commercial licence to transport it.

Its compact size means the SBM 50-6 also handles long dewatering routes in confined spaces without problem, and installing filters is quick and easy. The SBM 50-6 uses a unique drive for its pull up & pull down system via an extremely light timing belt. The timing belt preload is equipped with an automatic tensioner. An additional advantage of this technology? Daily maintenance is a thing of the past.

For hydraulic drives and control valves, we mainly use well-known German and Danish brands.
