Conrad COMBI 300 GEO | Powerful All-Rounder for Soil Surveys

Drill Rigs

The Combi 300 GEO is the largest installation in the line of soil research at Conrad and a real all-rounder. Even with this powerhouse, both small and large projects can be carried out by just one employee, which is no superfluous luxury in today’s market.

TAKE THAT CHALLENGE

The Combi 300 GEO is the biggest rig in Conrad’s soil survey series and is a true all-rounder. Even with this amazing powerhouse, just one operator can handle both small and large projects, which is a huge plus these days. Of course, operator comfort is then an extremely high priority. And that’s exactly what we’ve mastered to perfection over the years, creating a powerhouse that’s truly top of the bill. All important drilling functions and the positioning of the drilling rig can be handled using the Scanreco. The drilling operator has complete overview of both the drilling process and surroundings.

The Conrad Combi GEO mast has a traction force of up to 15 tonnes and can also be equipped for various other drilling techniques, such as flush, suction and hammer drilling. Like the Boxer 200, it can also be equipped with a self-loading crane for handling casing tubes and other equipment.

The Combi 300 GEO is supplied with a CRT 512 rotation table. This rotation table is equipped with a hydraulically-driven casing clamp, mounted beneath the rotation table, to secure the casing during installation and removal. For smaller diameter casings, the clamp diameter can be adjusted using inserts. There’s also an option to equip the rotation table with a quick-change system and hydraulic quick couplers for easy connection to the drilling rig. This quick-change system can also be used when the rotation table is installed on an existing drilling rig.

The most important Combi 300 GEO features:

  • All-rounder
  • Equipped with rotating frame for smaller spaces
  • Performs well during pulse, auger, core and sonic drilling
  • Incredibly easy operation
  • Proven reliability
  • Solid and robust rig
  • Mounted on caterpillar or truck chassis

The Scanreco operating system makes life easier for every drill operator. Operators can use the multi-functional controller for quick menu navigation on the eight-inch LCD monitor. The hi-res anti-reflection screen is always easy to read even when the sun’s shining and the sleek layout provides a clear overview and amazing functionality.

In terms of engine power, there are two options: a Volvo diesel engine or electric version. In sheer power they’re true equals.

Volvo TAD583-TAD884 with 175-250 kW
This Conrad machine is powered by a powerful Volvo Penta series diesel engine, developed in accordance with the latest emission standards and equipped with SCR, DPF+DOC, the so-called uncooled EGR and outstanding passive exhaust regeneration. These uncomplicated and compact engines are built using Volvo Group technology. They deliver high torque even at low revs and their extended oil interval of 1,000 hours make them very easy to maintain. Volvo offers 24/7 service worldwide and a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.

The Combi 300 is also available as a full electric and 100% emission-free version.
The Boxer 150 GEO can also be fitted with a CRT rotation table. The rotation table is equipped with a hydraulically-driven casing clamp, mounted beneath the rotation table, to secure the casing during installation and removal.
